Neal Smith is the Library Director and Scholarly Communications Librarian at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. He specializes in copyright education and electronic systems. Prior to joining the faculty at AHU, Neal worked as an intern at the U.S. Copyright Office and a legal reference librarian at the Western New England University School of Law.  Neal has an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and a JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he served as notes editor for IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review.

Neal's current research interests include copyright in academic and medical settings, quotation accuracy in scholarly literature, and information ethics.
