Dr. Nel Thomas is the Assistant Dean of Nursing for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Orlando. She holds a doctoral degree (PhD) from Barry University, a master’s degree in nursing education (MSN) from Walden University, a master’s degree in family and community counseling (MA) from Northeastern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree (BSN) from Andrews University. Dr. Thomas has 38 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing, and nursing education. Her research and clinical interests are in the areas of stress management, resiliency, integrative care, complementary therapies, and health promotion and wellness. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
