�������� is expanding its whole person nursing education model to Tampa, with classes beginning in January 2025.

�������� Tampa will offer an Associate of Science in Nursing degree to nursing students each Fall and Spring trimester. The associate degree can be completed in as little as 20 months, providing nursing students with the confidence and competence to successfully complete their licensing exam (NCLEX-RN) and smoothly transition to practice as a registered nurse.

Josef Ghosn, EdD, FACHE, president of ��������. “Our mission through �������� Tampa is to develop highly skilled professionals who live the healing values of Christ.”

�������� Tampa is an extension of ��������, a private Christian university noted for the smallest faculty-to-student ratio in Florida, according to the Florida Department of Education.

This site, at 14055 Riveredge Drive, will bring 28 faculty and support staff jobs to the Tampa Bay area in the first year.

According to the Florida Hospital Association, the state faces a nursing shortage of 59,000 nurses by 2035 if innovative solutions, including providing more ways for youth and adults to become nurses, are not swiftly implemented. �������� Tampa is committed to playing a vital and immediate role in helping to stem the national and local nursing shortfall.
